About us

Bringing lab biology closer to reality

We are a spin-off building a scalable cell culture platform with physiological flow, so scientists get more human-relevant data without changing how they work.

About us

Mission & vision

Mission

Enable scientists to create more human-relevant, predictive and reproducible cell models — without asking them to change their workflow.

Vision

A future where physiological flow is the default in cell culture, and in vitro data genuinely predicts what happens in the human body.

Our story

From cilia research to a product in the lab

  1. 1

    Research origin

Artificial cilia research at Eindhoven University of Technology showed that micro-actuators can move fluid inside a well — no tubing, no pumps.

  2. 2

    Founding

Artic Technologies was founded to turn that principle into a product scientists can use in their own incubator, on their own protocol.

  3. 3

    First pilots

The 24 well-plate MACplate went into pilot labs for gut permeability and immuno-oncology assays, with flow running under standard read-outs.

  4. 4

    Today

We are scaling manufacturing with our engineering partners while a 96 well-plate format moves through the pipeline.
